We are conscious of God’s many blessings to us as a parish so endeavour to respond by giving generously to charitable organisations supporting those in need locally, in the UK, and overseas.

The parish supports a number of international charities including:
The Jerusalem and Middle East Churches’ Association, Christian Aid, WaterAid, St John’s Eye Hospital Jerusalem, Children in Distress and other organisations as the need arises. This includes organising and publicising Gift Days in response to major international disasters.

UK charities include The Additional Curates’ Society (ACS), Crisis, and Shelter. Locally, the parish supports Bromley Welcare, St. Christopher's Bromley and Demelza. We hold a sponsored walk in aid of Crisis homelessness charity every Autumn, and host concerts and other events in aid of various charities.

Our own running costs are about £8,000 per month. This includes maintenance of the church and churchyard, the cost of clergy provision, and our contribution to the Diocese of Rochester’s running costs. A small number of volunteers do most of our minor repairs, maintain the churchyard and provide administration as part of their stewardship but we still rely on the generosity of our church members for the majority of our income.

If you are interested in giving regularly to support the church, please speak in confidence to: Gift Aid Secretary, Michael Owen, 020 8467 3082 , or you can make a one-off donation through The Charities Aid Foundation online.

We encourage all taxpayers to maximise the value of any donations though Gift Aid.
